Dear Potential Exhibitor/Sponsor:
FLENJ is so excited to announce this year’s conference theme: GROWING OUR GLOBAL GARDEN.
We are thrilled to be returning to the APA Hotel, conveniently located in Iselin, NJ. This year our conference will be on March 27-28, 2020.
We will once again have a Tech Garden. The Tech Garden is held in a fair-like setting within session blocks, with presenters each showing off their favorite tech tools to promote proficiency and/or intercultural competence. Conference attendees can wander around and linger at the stations that interest them. This event is available for sponsorship.
We are also offering sponsored Coffee Breaks, which will take place in the Exhibit Hall. We feel that by giving away coffee, we will draw more traffic to your exhibit table which will be located right next to the coffee area. You also have the opportunity to sponsor the Breakfast, Lunch and Dessert breaks which are great ways to highlight your company’s generosity.
Since last year was so popular we will have another Selfie Station. We have not come up with a theme yet and are open to your ideas. The pictures will be taken and displayed with your company logo and FLENJ’s logo, together in partnership. The selfie-station will be located in the Exhibit Hall next to your complimentary exhibit table. Not only will attendees get printed photos, they’ll also get uploaded to various social media platforms for more exposure.
Again this year is the opportunity to sponsor the FLENJ Mentoring Fellowship, a popular program designed to support novice world language teachers over a three-year period and, in so doing, helping to develop leadership in New Jersey’s world language teaching community.
Since many of our participants stay over Friday night, we have created an event for the evening. We are offering a Social Happy Hour on Friday from 4-7pm to be attended by both exhibitors and conference attendees. This event is available for sponsorship.
Typical to most conferences, we will have exhibit tables and we are also offering the opportunity for you to advertise in our conference program, sponsor the nametags and lanyards, and the conference tote bags.
I do hope that FLENJ can count on your support. The FLENJ board is entirely composed of volunteers who take it as their mission to provide quality professional development and networking opportunities for its members, so that students in our state can receive quality world language instruction. Your support is always appreciated.
